{"id":4331,"date":"2015-07-14T10:04:54","date_gmt":"2015-07-14T09:04:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/work2go.se\/en\/?p=4331"},"modified":"2015-07-14T10:04:54","modified_gmt":"2015-07-14T09:04:54","slug":"sync-e-mails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/work2go.se\/en\/newsletter\/sync-e-mails\/","title":{"rendered":"Sync e-mails"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">With<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Work2Go<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Pro<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">you can sync<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">your account with your<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">phone \/ tablet<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and always have<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">your information available<\/span><span class=\"\">,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">even when you&#8217;re<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">on the run<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">And if<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">disaster strikes<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and you<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">lose your phone<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">\/<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">tablet<\/span><span class=\"\">, you need not<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">worry that<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">your<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">sensitive and important<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">information<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to be<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">leaked out.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Log in to your<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Work2Go<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">account<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the nearest<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">web browser and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">touch of a button<\/span>, the information is <span class=\"hps\">deleted<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hps\">The technology<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">that makes this possible<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">was developed by<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Microsoft during<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the 90s and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is generally called<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">ActiveSync<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">or Exchange ActiveSync<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">The technique<\/span>, however, has <span class=\"hps\">a few<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">flaws, but<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">below<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">I intend to tell<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">you how to<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">circumvent this<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">and provide<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">some hints<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">on<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">what may<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">be good<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to consider<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">when you want to<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">sync<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">their<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Work2Go<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">account.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Send and receive emails<\/h3>\n<p>If you can not find all emails on your mobile that you see when you log into your account in the web interface, it may be due to the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a setting in your phone that regulates how old emails to sync.<\/li>\n<li>You have not selected that you want to receive e-mails in sync from the folder just that the email is saved.<\/li>\n<li>The email you are looking for is in a mailbox that has been distributed to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Save the phone&#8217;s batteries<\/h3>\n<p>If you sync your account to your phone and want to conserve your phone&#8217;s battery, you can choose manual syncing, or sync with a longer time interval. With manual sync you can sync information only when the tools are used.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t sync all your emails \/ activities in your calendar if you do not have the need to access information such as 1 year old.<\/p>\n<h3>Sync contacts \/ calendar \/ reminder<\/h3>\n<p>When you set up an account for syncing to your mobile, you can of course also choose to sync your contacts, calendar and reminders from your task list in Work2Go. What is important to remember when setting up sync to a mobile is to check that it is your calendar \/ address book in Work2Go which is the default one in your phone&#8217;s settings.
