How it all began
WebbPlatsen was founded in Stockholm in 1998 and have since then delivered websites and e-mail solutions for companies throughout Sweden and Europe. For clients in a wide variety of business areas such as funeral services, designers, events, travel agencies, craftsmen, hotels and carriers. Since the area of expertise within WebbPlatsen isn’t only within online services, but also in system development, hardware and infrastructure, it was in 2000 a natural step to expand and take over the responsibility for the IT-department of Comet Consular Services AB, a company assisting business travelers with applying for visas and travel documents for all over the world. Over the years, several online services have been added to the product line, such as an application for e-mail marketing and newsletters, domain hosting, SEO and a discussion forum.
In 2007 a collaboration with VAlain WebAgency SA in Luxembourg was initiated and together we developed the concept xSentio. With the intention of offering customers that extra special attention by offering ready made websites with a sustainable high quality and attraction, gained by proactively giving valuable feed back, reviews and guidance. Today there’s an online project management tool, a web shop solution and a variety of websites under the same lable, but this will certainly increase over the next few years. In 2012, the company grew further and also opened an office in Karlstad, Sweden.
